Big News!

I am sorry about the little April fools joke I did, but it was sure fun! Not the typical "I'm pregnant" April fools joke though, I say.

This is 17 weeks after church. (my changing day is Saturday)

I was able to meet up with my beautiful friend, Paige, and attend the Salt Lake City Temple. 21 1/2 weeks.

And Last night, 26 weeks!

I have been feeling great and I have not thrown up since the middle of January! For 2-3 weeks, around Christmas, I was throwing up at least every other day. I would throw up if I didn't eat. So I had little meals VERY often. I will just say I sure got tired of eating- what a chore!

I have not had any food make me nauseous, and I haven't had any cravings, really. But I haven't been particularly interested in desserts. Over Christmas vacation in Texas with David's family I had 2-3 grapefruits everyday. I got more grapefruits while in Arizona for my sisters wedding, so I am starting to get back on that kick.

Maternity clothes are GREAT! My great friend Chelsie went with me to find some maternity pants. They are wonderful! I am glad I went at 19 weeks and can enjoy them for so long! I was down to 1 pair of bright red skinny jeans that I was still able to button up, and wearing red skinny jeans every time you want to get dressed (when I wasn't in scrubs for work that are still comfy thankfully) gets old pretty fast.

We found out the gender the day before I turned 20 weeks, on February 15. We considered that our Valentines day present! David was so excited during the ultra-sound when we found out he is a BOY, he pumped his fist in the air and hollered! I didn't have a feeling either way, and we are both happy!

I love hearing his heart beat at my appointments, and I love feeling him move and kick and punch me! It is truly amazing and always gets me excited! This little guys is growing inside of me.

So coming sometime near July 6, will be Baby Boy Patty!

  3. There was no way I was going to believe you with the other picture, but even this one....you're so tiny. I have a picture of me at 27 weeks and I had a much more obvious bump. But you do at least have one! Congrats!
